Make the Foreground
Cut out the animal you want in the foreground, or front of the scene. Make it larger than the other paper objects. Glue on paper features, such as eyes, a beak, or markings. Then, on the other side of your animal, glue several cardboard scraps. Glue these onto the picture.
- Touchy-feely tip: Want to make the surface of your paper objects look rough or bumpy? Before you glue them in place, tape them to a brick, sidewalk, or tree trunk and rub a crayon across the surface.
