National Wildlife Federation Creates Paperless Membership Program
No paper and no postage means a lower carbon footprint
For wildlife lovers who want to donate to a worthy conservation cause and at the same time reduce paper waste, the National Wildlife Federation has developed a paperless membership program that eliminates all paper mail. By becoming a GREEN LEADER, consumers who want to help protect our nation’s wildlife and wild places can commit to having their donation recur monthly by having it charged to their credit or debit card. Within 6-8 weeks of the initial donation, NWF stops sending that donor any paper mail as long as they remain an active GREEN LEADER. You can participate in the program for as little as $5/month.
No paper and no postage means a lower carbon footprint and more of every donation dollar going to directly safeguard our country’s wildlife heritage.
“Becoming a GREEN LEADER is truly a win-win,” says Georgina Price, NWF’s Project Leader for the GREEN LEADERS program. “Consumers have an easy and more eco-friendly way to support a worthwhile cause, and NWF receives a reliable source of funds to help the organization confront threats to wildlife.”
Green Leaders also receive a monthly “News of the Wild” email newsletter and a 20 percent discount off all on-line NWF catalog merchandise. To become a GREEN LEADER go to www.nwf.org/paperless
