Jami de Lou serves as Vice President of Equity, Inclusion, and Belonging at the National Wildlife Federation, where she leads the function that translates NWF's commitment to equity and justice into a lived, operational reality. Her work enables employees to trust the systems that shape their work, bring honest collaboration to the table without fear, and carry out the work of protecting wildlife in a way that is personally sustainable.
Jami brings more than a decade of executive leadership experience designing organizational culture, talent, and inclusion strategies across the professional services industry, partnering with law firms, consulting firms, and growing organizations on leadership and organizational transformation. She is also the founder of de Lou Strategies, where she advises nonprofit organizations, professional services firms, and growing companies on leadership development, organizational effectiveness, and culture strategy.
Jami is an ICF-certified executive coach, bringing a grounded, evidence-based approach to how people build trust and work across differences. In addition to frequent keynote speaking on organizational culture and change, Jami is also the host of the Adaptive Humans podcast, where she explores culture, identity, and adaptability in leadership and life.
A proud member of a multicultural, multiracial, and multilingual family, she has lived in more than 17 U.S. cities and traveled globally, an experience that continues to shape how she thinks about human adaptability.
