WASHINGTON, D.C. — The Freedom to Vote Act would ensure all voters have a say in the solutions necessary to address the interconnected and immense challenges facing people and wildlife alike. The National Wildlife Federation urged Congress to pass this important bill as swiftly as possible.

If we’re serious about addressing the interconnected wildlife, climate, economic, and racial injustice crises, we need to ensure everyone has a say in the solutions,” said Collin O’Mara, president and CEO of the National Wildlife Federation. “The Freedom to Vote Act is a common-sense and collaborative proposal that will strengthen our democracy and expand the right to vote — and a bill that Congress should pass as swiftly as possible.”
