We are collaborating with the Valle de Oro National Wildlife Refuge, local partners, and community members to create a community-centered nature play space at their site in in Albuquerque, New Mexico.
Throughout 2023, the ECHO team and Valle de Oro National Wildlife Refuge staff worked together to engage with community members who have visited the refuge. Through a series of community engagement events, we gathered ideas from board members, local youth groups, refuge staff, and other refuge visitors to inform the nature play space design.
