Kathy served more than 10 years as the Montana Wildlife Federation (MWF) Representative to the National Wildlife Federation, and has focused her conservation efforts on protecting and conserving wildlife habitat, restoring natural resources and maintaining public access to public lands. She served two terms as president of MWF where she has been an active board member for more than 20 years. She was appointed by Montana’s governor to the first Private Lands/Public Wildlife Committee, which resulted in legislation that opened up more than seven million acres of private land to public hunting.
